As a newcomer to the city she found herself overwhelmed with the never ending list of things to do, but most of all, she struggled to navigate the maze of Shanghai’s food community and restaurants.

初來上海的Kamilla 被這座城市的繽紛美食所吸引，對她來說，生活最大的魅力是——在上海這個巨大的迷宮里找尋真正的人間美味。

Kamilla is a lover of both food and meeting new people. She sees food as a catalyst for connection and building relationships, believing that by eating with new people we are more likely to try new foods. The problem is dining solo is not always enjoyable, but a common reality for many. People have invested a lot of time and energy searching for tasty meals and hungry folks to join in. And in her words “the struggle is real.”

Kamilla 熱衷于以食會友。她認為，食物是人與人之間關(guān)系的橋梁。我們都想結(jié)交有趣的新朋友，一起品嘗周圍的美食，卻難以避免一人食的孤單。所以我們花費了很多的時間和精力去搜羅美食，以及愿意一起享受美味的伙伴。這一切用Kamilla的話來說：“The struggle is real”（大家都不容易）。

Enter DIVE (飯吧), a real-time matchmaking tool and communications platform for hungry people, it essentially pairs you up with a foodie nearby so you don’t have to eat alone. Kamilla has partnered up with two other team members working out of Vancouver and has secured an awesome Co-Founder/Lead iOS Engineer, who happens to be from one of highest ranking apps in the U.S. to found DIVE (飯吧) here in Shanghai.

DIVE (飯吧)，是一款高級定制約飯和社交的實時app。為吃貨們快速配對，不再需要漫長的等待和提前計劃，不再孤零零地面對食物，吃貨美食家就在24小時on call。Kamilla 和她的團隊，目前正在積極籌備約飯app。兩位來自溫哥華的美食家，一位本土的資深吃貨。當然他們也有強大的技術(shù)支持，DIVE (飯吧)更是牽手美國最暢銷的app開發(fā)團隊作為Lead iOS engineer 為中國用戶量身定制。

Being early stage, the product is still a work in progress, but their small team, spread out across two continents, is working exceptionally hard on making things happen. They believe the world needs better designed mobile products and smarter services driven by AI and Natural Language. The goal is to help users match successfully and meet offline, but they are also starting to design and develop robots within the application, creating an awfully fun experience in case you can’t find a match nearby. The users will engage in natural, playful conversations, challenges and activities while getting back data they’ve implemented.

The product’s features will range from having the user, aka diver, spend time with local foodie insiders and taste the foods in a whole new light, having fun with a robot, and post event reviewing process. Kamilla says that?“Overall, we’re trying to build a very unique approach to dining out by making it more fun, efficient, and exciting. Every time you eat out you get to the next level. Plus, we’re always cooking up something fresh and fun, a never ending foodie game.”
